About us

R K Packaging Systems Ltd, and its forerunners, go back to 1960 when Ralph Reynolds started the company to try to capitalise on the innovative range of packaging products then available all over continental Europe, by marketing them in the UK.

Ralph’s two sons Paul and Nigel joined the company in the early seventies and the product range evolved to meet the changing demands of the market and Paul’s son Nick is now working for the company, continuing the family tradition.

Today the products are clearly divided between consumer and industrial, focusing on a range of high quality, injection moulded tamper evident plastic pots on the consumer side of the business and arguably the best and most comprehensive range of freestanding UN certified injection moulded pails on the industrial side. Our 50th Anniversary in 2010 saw the introduction of a new range of industrial pails as well as rectangular and square salad containers to augment the range and increase the potential market base. And now in 2012 we are adding more new products to our range – poly bags and liners and a brand new range of thermoformed ready meal trays.
